Tucked away in the Jebel al-Lweibdeh neighborhood of Amman, Jordan is "The Beautiful Books Trove," hosted by designer and calligrapher Hussein al-Azaat in ElHarf House, a design and calligraphy space for artists and art enthusiasts. This collection of rare books, comics, prints, stamps, posters and other objects is Azaat’s own, acquired over the years during travel throughout the region. Azaat takes us on a tour of his collection, highlighting the importance of knowing our regional publishing history and the role it plays in the future of design.
