Video | Out of Sudan, into precarity

كتابة: Menem Sami 1 دقيقة قراءة

As the war between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces enters its third year, the situation in Sudan remains dire and is considered the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. Over 12.5 million people have been displaced since the war began on April 15, 2023, including nearly 4 million who have sought relative security across national borders.

Mada Masr met with two women who fled the war to Cairo. In this video, they share their experiences surviving and escaping the conflict zone, and of life in their subsequent places of refuge.
