Come with us to Arab al-Yassar, a residential neighborhood situated below Cairo's citadel walls, where we meet Mahmoud al-Qammah, one the area's oldest residents. As we wander through the historic alleys, Qammah describes the neighborhood's experience with administrative neglect, demolition campaigns and development plans. We also meet artists from Rasm Misr, an initiative that documents historic areas through drawing, painting, photography and video, and shares this work with the public through art exhibitions and YouTube videos.
