Cairo Photo Marathon 2013

Virginie Nguyen 1 دقيقة قراءة

On November 2, a group of amateur and professional photographers walked Cairo's streets, capturing images on various themes as they took part in the Egypt Photo Marathon. Each photographer shoots photos for 10 hours, checking in at meeting points every few hours to receive three topics they must express through the images. Fifty photographers took part in the Cairo marathon, which was hosted in Makan, the Egyptian Center For Culture and Arts, and began by tackling the theme of identity. The marathon was organized by the Danish Egyptian Dialogue Institute in collaboration with International Media Support in Alexandria, Mansoura, Cairo, Minya, Assiut, Hurghada and Sohag. Videography, editing, direction by Virginie Nguyen Hoang
