Director Asmaa Gamal won the Special Jury Award for Best Documentary for her film, The Letter You Sent, at the Cine4All Fest on December 24. The Letter You Sent previously won the Jury Award at the Masr Dot Bokra Film Festival in October, and in early November Gamal participated in a discussion panel showcasing the film as among the most watched and commented on in Adef Deca's Short Film Days.
