Video: Multicultural circus show tours the north of Egypt
Circ’Us, a performance combining circus, street theater, music and singing, is the product of a 10-day arts residency in Port Said. Organized by Mahatat for Contemporary Art with several partners, it brings together 20 artists from France, Germany and various parts of Egypt. This 5-minute video documents the project's first performance in Port Said's History Garden — it then toured several cities and villages in the Delta, traveled to Alexandria, and is showing for a final time at Cairo's Geneina Theater tonight.
