Video | Here comes the bride!
Tossing a bridal bouquet might not meet social distancing measures, but the pandemic hasn't curbed romantic love or couples' desire to embark on a shared life. Like so many other social activities, large and boisterous wedding celebrations have been muted in Egypt since March — and couples are changing their nuptial plans to fit the circumstances. In this video, Mada Masr follows the celebrations of three couples: one who holds a small, daytime engagement party, another who postpones their wedding altogether, and yet another who throws their wedding party online. Congratulations to all!
