Mohammad, 27, has a new tattoo sketched onto his chest. Although having tattoos is considered an abomination in Iran, some young people are very interested in having one. If a person has a tattoo on his/her body they might not only be detained but deprived of social rights. Those with a tattoo, for example, can not be employed by a state organization or apply for a driving license.
