Muna Abdurrahman, 26, studied pharmaceutical science in her hometown of Mansoura, but relocated to Cairo in 2013 to dedicate herself to political caricature. She is currently employed by the new, independently-owned Al-Tahrir newspaper, where her cartoons often address issues related to women in modern Egyptian society.
