Video: Parkour’s urban acrobatics
Parkour is an acrobatic sport that involves running and doing tricks in an urban space, while landing with low impact. It appeared in the 1990s in France and videos posted on Youtube helped popularize it around the world.
A group of young people created EgyFlow in 2009 in Cairo with the aim to practice and teach Parkour in Egypt. They organize several trainings for children as well as for adults and participate in events such as Al Fit Fitness festival.
Over the past two years this extreme sport has become increasingly popular here among the young generation, and more than a sport, participants consider it a way of life.
