Fatma Abu Zayd was seven months pregnant and asleep when Israeli bombardments blew her apartment door off of its hinges in Gaza City last December. The incident forced Fatma, her husband and their two children into displacement. The family currently resides in a tent in Rafah, where Fatma welcomed Mada Masr as she tended to her makeshift home to tell us about bringing her baby girl Eileen into the world under impossible conditions.
