Video | Animating lives in Gaza’s camps
Despite the many challenges of civil society work in Gaza today, Theatre Day Productions continues to hold drama, storytelling, and animation workshops, as well as live theater performances, across the Gaza Strip. In recognition of a growing need for creative outlets of expression, the institution has expanded its reach to provide animation workshops for displaced women sheltering in tents. In this video, Mada Masr visits an animation workshop for women displaced to the Anan camp in Deir al-Balah, in which women use art and humor to produce short films on camp life.
