Maheen Hyder

Maheen Hyder is a writer and trauma therapist based between Toronto and Marseille. Raised across Saudi Arabia, Canada, Qatar and Egypt, her work explores the emotional and political afterlives of displacement, state violence and memory. She works primarily with refugees, survivors of torture and LGBTQ+ communities navigating forced migration and systemic harm.
