Ramadan’s Here: Nagaa al-Mahatta

كتابة: Mahmoud Nasr 1 دقيقة قراءة

In the final episode of "Ramadan's Here," a series by Mahmoud Nasr documenting iftar culture in diverse Egyptian homes, we visit the household of Mahmoud Dahab and his wife Sabah. Residents of Nagaa al-Mahatta, a Nubian village in southern Aswan that is famous for fishing and tourism, the family includes their daughter Anoush and son Ahmed.

Mahmoud is a retired ambulance driver, while Sabah bakes and sells baladi bread and biscuits, ordered for local weddings and on special occasions.
