Angie Omar

Angie Omar is an Egyptian/American researcher and journalist. She has researched and edited pieces on various topics for Voice of America, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and Al Jazeera International in Washington D.C. Her curiosity for storytelling started in Egypt in 2011, when she became a citizen journalist, along with thousands of others who took to the streets.
